Oh I LOOOOOOVED this epidsode! I was especially loving the segment about Essentrics! It is a phenonmenal program. I have been teaching it here in my small Alberta Canada town for about 5 years and the feedback is amazing.

The crazy thing is one of my participants told me about your podcast on Monday morning - 2 days ago. I looked it up today and you were chatting about ESSENTRICS! Whoo Hoo! You have totally found the golden egg in the fitness world..

I loved what you said about yoga and holding a pose and then needing to 'move' because your mind starts to wander. Me! me! Me! I tried yoga but just can't still myself. I know stillness is important but I figure I can be still in my 90's - there's things to DO!

Essentrics is constant movement and beautiful movement - pleasant movement - and effective movement! All 360 joints and all 650 muscles are engaged in every class.

I could go on and on but I just have to tell you briefly that
In 2018 I had just turned 55 and was starting to feel some telltale signs of aging. Hips and knees were starting to complain. At 56 I stumbled upon Essentrics and what a game changer! I feel better now (at 61) than I did in my 30’s.

I wasn’t planning to become an instructor, but once I was reaping the benefits I wanted to share with a few friends. I began teaching and was thrilled to hear that the technique was making as big a difference for others as it was for me.

In fact it was not unusual to receive a text the day after someone’s first class telling me they felt lighter, taller, stronger, more open… and I would reply with “Don’t tell your friends that until you have been to at least three classes. Otherwise, it sounds like a scam! Can a body really feel that different after just one class!?” Yes. It really can!

It is such a privilege and now a passion to share ESSENTRICS with anyone who has a body.

I know you get TONS of emails and comments and suggestions but I do teach virtually as well as in person and if you want a change of scenery from the fitness professional look - hop into my class one morning! I broadcast over FB live - with zoom also as an option.

I would LOVE to share a class with you! Even just an intro.

AND I have been IF forever - my mum ate that way so I just carried on once I was an adult - I didn't know it had a name! I thought it was just a good thing because it felt right. My mum always said that breakfast was the most important meal of the day - but breakfast (breaking of the fast) does not have to happen in the morning! I have break-fast at 4 pm.

My mum was ahead of her time in so many ways. I grew up eating kale when it was unheard of and suffered immensly being the kid with the 'weirdest lunches' - now kale is COOL!

Haha - I've taken up enough of your time. Good for you if you got to the end of my rambling AND HAPPY NEW YEAR - thanks for all this wonderful information that you share!
